Their enchantment with the poetic beauty of this craft began when, while restoring a mansion in central France, they discovered original eighteenth-century hand-painted domino wallpaper.
Drawn to the rhythmic charm of repeat-pattern prints—ranging from florals and fauna to geometrics and ikats—they've filled Maison Lescop with their signature touches: handmade lampshades, wallpaper-lined armoires, paper-mâché marriage boxes, layered table settings, and sumptuous textiles.
Embracing the rhythms of French life, they invite readers along on their daily adventures—visiting local markets, antiquing, foraging for mushrooms, making sheep’s cheese, crafting paper, and dyeing textiles.
