If you've ever visited one of our shops, you know storytelling is part of the experience.
Throughout the store, you'll find little cards tucked beside objects, sharing a bit about the maker, where something was found, or what first drew me to it. More often than not, though, we'll end up telling you the rest in person. Why this candle? Why this artist? Why this book? Those conversations are every bit as meaningful to me as the objects themselves. Because I don't believe beautiful things should simply be collected. I believe they should be understood.
Every piece in our shops has earned its place. Sometimes because of the artisan who made it. Sometimes because of where it was discovered. Sometimes because it carries a memory I couldn't shake. The stories are part of the object.
Whether you're visiting us in Houston, wandering through Round Top, or shopping from home, my hope is always the same: that you leave having discovered something unexpected, and knowing a little more about why it matters.

Round Top has long held a special place in our hearts, and we're delighted to call this magical little town our second home. Tucked into an 800-square-foot Marfa-inspired casita at Round Top Village, our shop is filled with the same thoughtfully curated collection found in Houston—celebrated textiles, carefully chosen furnishings, hand-crafted jewelry, candles, pottery, and ethically sourced treasures from around the world.
With its wraparound porch, easy pace, and unmistakable Texas charm, it's a place to slow down, linger awhile, and perhaps enjoy a margarita or two between stops. Surrounded by wonderful neighbors—including Bella's Candles, Cottonseed Trading Company, Tutu & Lilli, Muse Collective, and our friends at Richard Schmidt Jewelry—it's one of our favorite places to spend the day, and we hope it becomes one of yours as well.
