Once used to serve a traditional yogurt drink, these patinated silver and brass lassi cups were gathered from markets across India. Their etched, timeworn surfaces echo stories of place and ritual — each one unique, each one handpicked.
They were among the first vintage treasures I brought home from early buying trips, and on a whim, I filled a small batch with wax and fragrance. The Lassi Cup Candle was born — and quickly became an enduring CB favorite.
Each cup is hand-poured by a local candlemaker and available in a few carefully chosen scents. When the candle has burned through, give the cup a third life as a vase, pen holder, jewelry dish, or quiet keepsake.
16 oz. | Appx. 7" H | Due to age and wear, cups have not been food-tested for safety.
Rose & Oud: Rose and smokey oud combine with hints of incense, black tobacco and patchouli.
Marseilles Fig: Ripe Tuscan fig enhanced with fresh ginger, basil and vetiver.
1907: The scent of The Plaza. Since its grand opening in 1907, New York's most iconic hotel has perfumed its corridors with this singular fragrance. Fresh-cut gardenia opens with a dewy immediacy — green and alive — while the full blossom unfolds in rich, heady layers, balanced by the cool whisper of garden leaves. Luminous. Unhurried. Unmistakably New York.
Rose de Sel: Salt and bloom. Rosewater opens softly — delicate, almost translucent — while geranium lifts it with a green, slightly wild edge. Salted amber deepens the heart, warm and unhurried, as white woods settle beneath like something sun-warmed and quiet. A whisper of sea salt runs through it all, keeping the rose honest.
