In just a few days (August 11th!), we’ll throw open the doors to our new Houston shop, just down the street from our previous home on Ferndale. Beyond providing operational and spatial solutions for our growing company, the new space is also steeped in story, making it decidedly well suited to the spirit of our brand. Situated on the bustling corner of Ferndale and West Alabama, the 3,200 square foot craftsman-style bungalow boasts ample parking, an inviting porch, plenty of retail space (the most precious spot just for our children’s collection!) — as well as room for our offices, online shipping operations, and inventory.

There's truth to the old adage: a fresh coat of paint does wonders to transform a room. But paint shopping can be overwhelming and time consuming. You know the drill: choose a paint brand and grade, select the right hue, retrieve an array of swatches, test out samples, observe said samples in various lights and times of day, make a sound decision, then get the paint on the wall evenly.

Entrepreneur and designer Nicole Gibbons is on a mission to simplify the paint shopping process. Her eco-friendly, direct-to-consumer paint company, Clare, launched in 2018 and is disrupting the traditional paint selling model.
